Anna Beth Peters (she/hers) serves as administrative assistant for the Consortium. She is a native of Tuscumbia, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2021 with a bachelor’s degrees in political science and communications. While an undergraduate, Anna Beth worked and volunteered on projects focused on social justice issues including voting rights, reproductive rights and gender equity, prison reform and removal of Confederate monuments. She continues to serve as a Smart Justice Organizing Fellow for ACLU of Alabama. Before joining the Consortium team, Anna Beth was a legal assistant for the law firm of Maynard, Cooper and Gale.
